I have a BAD habit of asking for advice and not taking it.  If you guys sign a waiver to not be mad at me and I can get my S together in time, I might just take you up on it.

  • So exciting!!

I have the same habit - getting the advice helps lead you to what you really want to do. Give me that waiver.

You have officially worked at a law firm too long now.  Stick out tongue

Ha!  You know my husband's response would be "you know waivers usually mean nothing. They don't hold up."

You could always just say your entry is child portrait photography and then take the weekend (or however long you need) to decide. You don't technically have to have the exact image decided on when you enter as an artist. Last year I entered but hadn't taken the images yet, so I just described what I was going to do. Also, I entered about two hours before registration closed, so two days is TONS of advance time! Stick out tongue

  • that is an awesome decision!

That's true.  The one thing is that I *might* be able to get into my own building where I work (they are now displaying indoors as well and it has worked for both of the people that work here who are officially in Artprize).  So, I am going to contact the person at my work beforehand and I'm worried what she'll think if I say something general and think it is just snapshots so I guess I wanted something more solid to show her.
