Interview with hiring manager that I see and work with every day...
So, I have an interview with the hiring manager. He's on my floor and my department. I work with him a lot, have meetings with him, see him every day. We are literally about 20 feet from each other right now. We're comfortable with each other enough to joke around etc.
I know with interviews you should stay formal. Normally, I'd do a hand shake when I'd first "meet" the interviewer. In this situation I think it feels odd. What would you do?
