layered invites yes or no?
i offer backs as an add-on to my wedding invitations because the paper they are printed on is not super stiff. it's not bad, but i like a really thick invite (the print shop i use can't run anything thicker). i would say about half of my clients order backs and half dont. the backs come in metallic colors or matte white or cream, and right now i sell them as a self assembly option because they are time consuming to adhere. my question is, were you to order invitations, would you prefer them layered or not? the reason i ask is i scored a great groupon for a pro photog to photograph my invites. i need to figure out if i should send her invitations with backs or alone. i am also thinking about raising the price and offering them with backs with an option to not have backs if they dont want them. thoughts?

Re: layered invites yes or no?
I'd send both types for pictures so people can pick which version they like.
I personally like the layered look. Our invites where cream layered on top of a teal linen like paper.
