my first place
i was watching an episode of my first place. these people were touring the house and no joke they get to the basement and there is about two feet of water there. you could row a boat in that basement. but they put in an offer anyway!!! it was a short sale and the cheap ass bank offered $10k for water damage. they had someone take a look and the person estimated it would be $50k to fix the basement which the husband was fine with. huh? the house was not even below their range of what they could afford. then the bank didnt accept their offer so the house was going to be $10k more. and the husband still wanted it! they then had an inspection. the water had receded (it was some sort of sewer back up - nice) and the inspector discovered tons of black mold. the inspector deemed the house unsafe. but the husband still wanted it! and here's the kicker - the wife was pregnant! finally he decided to walk away. the whole time my jaw was on the floor. i would have been furious if my h insisted on a house like that especially when it was unsafe for me and my baby. not to mention the fact that it was a very obvious money pit.
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.
