I interviewed for a job at a new company today. This was actually a second interview as I had applied for another job at the same company and the recruiter thought that this new position may be a better fit. After the the interview, I was introduced to an exec who asked to speak with me (never met before). Anyway, he said after reviewing my resume they were considering a brand new position that would include aspects of both positions I applied for, and, if they did, would I consider it?
The answer is yes. But I'm not sure how to address in the thank you follow up letter .... Yah-da, yah-da, opportunity to meet and find out about the company. AND if you do decide to create the new position, please consider me."?
Humble? I'd welcome the opportunity ...
Assertive? I know I'm the right person for the position. I can do it.
Any suggestions are appreciated!
