Birthday Freebies
My friend is turning 30 this year and is really not looking forward to it...In addition to her gift, I'm trying to make a list of freebies she can sign up for to look forward to on her birthday.
So far, the ones I've been able to find are:
Free Cold Stone Sundae, Free Sephora Gift, Qdoba coupon, Red Robin coupon.

Starbucks (registering a gift card online, any drink free, any size)
DSW (signing up for their rewards program, $5 off)
Anthropologie (sign up for their reward card, 15% off entire purchase)
All three of these were coupons you could use any time, not just the day of your birthday.

FYI - I think most places you have to be on their email list or have their rewards card etc. Great idea for your friend though!
Really? You've never gotten an email from any companies with freebies or discounts on your birthday?
I know NY & Co and Loft sent me discount coupons for my birthday. Bonefish did a free Bang Bang Shrimp. MIL signed me up for all the ones pp listed from Frugal Gals and there's a ton. Oh and Chili's sends a free app or dessert certificate.
I generally try to avoid giving out my info. unless I have to. I think I've gotten a handful of emails, but have never really given it much thought. I'm not on the mailng lists for restaurants or Starbucks, etc. so I've never gotten anything from them.

A friend at work told me another one- Free Dinner and Tournament with the purchase of a full priced admission.
My birthday was Saturday so just missed a lot of these! I got a 15% discount at Anthropologie, Free Sephora Gift, Free Shipping through Macy's and a free Burrito at California Tortilla.
I think you can get a free item from Aveda by signing up online as well. I read that on one of the Extreme Coupon Blogs.
