help finding shorts

ok..i need to get some shorts. not 14 year old shorty short shorts, but some i-have-a-2-year-old-and-it's-mother-f'ing-hot-today shorts. one problem: whenever i wear shorts and walk, the "legs" of the shorts always ride up my crotch. i have no clue why...my mom said the same thing happens to her. it's not only bc they don't fit properly..it happens when shorts fit snug or bigger. grrr

help!

    I have the same problem and it typically means the inseam is too short or that the leg opening is too big.  Here are some that I got and don't run into that problem...

    i have that problem too. i just buy longer shorts and it doesnt happen. i am in love with old navy's perfect bermuda. they are so soft and comfortable. i am waiting for them to go on sale or to snag a great coupon code and then i plan to buy a few more. i could live in them.
    Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    I found some good shorts last year at Old Navy and Kohls that aren't too short, but also not too long.

    Shorts are so annoying, I agree!

    I like JCrew because they come in so many different lengths. I want to say I got the 3 or the 5 one time and then whatever the longest one is for bermuda.

    Also - Eddie Bauer has shorts 50% off. Limited was doing a buy one get one free shorts too, but I'm not sure if they still are, but it's worth a shot. You may also try Lands End canvas. If you order from them you can return to any Sears for no charge.

    i had some great shorts on today and it made me think of this post again. they were ann taylor loft. they weren't as long as my perfect bermudas, but they are fitted around the leg and maybe a little longer than mid-thigh. that's about as short as i can go without having to worry. it's so annoying when you have on shorts that ride up! you have to constantly think about how to dig them out without anyone seeing! i gave up...

    I've had that problem too, but not with my shorts from Old Navy. They're relatively cheap and you can get different inseam lengths.
