It's ridiculous how much this coffeemaker makes me happy. I can't wait to make coffee every day. A friend of mine just gave it to me as a thank you gift (the best gift ever!) for helping her with some stuff.
Does anyone know if the pods are recyclable? The box they came in says that IT is made with recyclable materials, but doesn't say anything about the pods.
Re: Keurig = happiness
As far as I know the pods are recyclable. At least I hope they are, or I've wasted a lot of time scraping out the grounds to compost them, washing out the K-cups and recycling them.
But to answer your question, we clean out the K-cups and recycle them.
we also got one as a gift, along with oodles of cups, and i love it!
have you seen this?

no, no, no! that defeats the whole purpose of the fabulousness of the Keurig! (although, it is much more environmentally friendly...boo, guilt!!)
This is going to be a buy for my husband when he finishes grad school. He's the coffee drinker though I could totally get on board with the tea line. They do sell a reuseable insert if you wanted to use your own coffee, which might defeat the purpose, but an option none the less.
