Had my first ultrasound.

I had my first ultrasound this afternoon and we got to see the heartbeat.  It was nice and strong at 180 bpm and I am measuring 9 weeks and 5 days.

Re: Had my first ultrasound.

Yay!!! So fun. Have you thought about names?

For girls we like Mona Corin.  For boys we have been tossing around Felix, Roland, Walter and Oliver.  Probably all of those with Abraham as the middle name.

  • Awesome! You and my SIL are right around the same time, she had her first one last week at 8 weeks. So cool!

I seriously love that girl's name. And Walter and Oliver are my faves in your boy choices so far. Abraham is a great strong name too.  Great choices.  When you do decide, stick to your guns and don't let anyone make you doubt your decision.  Okay, rant over. Wink

  • Oh, yay!! Was H able to go with you? Were you guys super excited or crying? I'm nosy!

I like your names picks too! I've always liked Oliver from that little orange cat Oliver from Oliver and Company (a movie).

H did go with me.  We were both super happy.  Neither of us cried (we aren't criers really), but we were both grinning ear to ear.

Great news!  How are you feeling?

I am doing pretty good.  It depends on the day, but I usually have some nausea every day (no actual throwing up though) and I am pretty tired.  Other than that not too bad.  I just am hoping that I get some energy back in the second tri.

  • Congrats!  That's great news!!!  Keep up the good work Wink

You'll get it back and then it'll disappear again in the 3rd tri, lol!!

We didn't get an ultrasound that early but hearing the hb is one of the best things!
