Shaina I totally spotted that, seriously though I think her voice tipped me off first it's really distinctive.
The acting is way better than Secret Life I hope the story lines pick up a bit.
I'm pretty much in the "if it's on ABC family, I probably watch it" camp.
I enjoy having a deaf character in a role other than a "I read lips to help the cops with their investigation" type of thing. Even though the girl who plays Daphne is not actually as deaf as her character is.
The rich parents annoy the sh!t out of me.
This show is a big topic of conversation at my work (I work at a school for the deaf) so it's kind of important that I keep on top of it. . .this is how I justify my teenage-girl tv habits to my husband.
I saw her interview on ET. I think eventually she will be completely deaf but I missed the part of the interview that explained why.
