Going to the Fillmore this weekend
Hey!
Popping from over on the Toledo board, I'm super stoked to see Fitz and the Tantrums this Friday at the Fillmore. We've heard of an after party at MGM.
I've really only been to Detroit a few times and I was wondering if we could park at MGM then ride the monorail over to the Fillmore area (circus maybe?)
But wondered if you beautiful very pretty Detroit nesties knew a better solution.

We are gonna drive back to Toledo. Unless we hit the jackpot then it's PENTHOUSE!! nah I'm just kidding but wouldn't that be fun?
But since this "afterparty" was free, I think we should check it out since apparently the bands *might* be there as well. I want to get my picture taken the the guy who not only is bringing sexy back but a flock of seagulls haircut!
I'm debating on going to see G-love and Matt Nathanson but haven't bought tickets yet.

I heart Matt! Matt was the main reason for going and we liked this new "moneygrabber" song. So we got F&T's album and it's totally my summer jam. I can't stop listening to it.
We are crossing fingers that Matt might have his new CD with him and hopefully selling it. I think DH sad it comes out on in two weeks or so.
Tix weren't bad. We got seats cause sloppy drunk people who aren't my friends aren't my thing. Our seats were around $20 a piece if I remember right. Not too shabby!
I'm am woefully ignorant on everything G-Love. My hubby is trying to fix that and we have Glove's new album on rotation in the car.
I'm hoping for a damn good time! I will check out the link! Thanks
