Health & Fitness Wednesday

Well aside from not really sticking to the 200 situp challenge like i wanted to last week (stupid work) and likely doing the same thing this week (again, stupid work), i'm doing well! I'm eating great and i lost 3.4 lbs at my most recent weight watchers weigh in! thats 5.4 lost total...hoping for another good loss this week (thinking about 1lbs, maybe 2 if i'm lucky!)

    I got back to the gym last night - felt good! Hopefully I'll be able to get back into the groove and routine of going every day again. Things have just been so busy lately!

    And I'm annoyed because I have bpics in 1.5 weeks and I'm not nearly in the shape that I wanted to be in.

  • My half marathon is this Sunday!!!

    I have kept on track pretty much the whole 12 weeks of training. Last Sunday I was supposed to run 10 miles, but I ran 12 instead.  I had to make sure i was going to be able to accomplish the 1/2.

    Now I feel very confident, and have my shoes all figured out.  So Manitoba 1/2 here I come!

  • I've been really bad this week as far as eating because of graduation and working on stuff for this interview.  I'm an awful stress eater.  However, I'm planning on getting back on track with diet and exercise tomorrow, because I had been doing so well the last two weeks!

  • I have gone to pioxing four times in the last week and one day!  It is boxing and pilates combo.  There is a lot of cardio and some pilates.  There are piloxing gloves and they are a half pond on each hand. They do make some that are one pounderes though.  No kicks, only fluid leg movements as the leader calls them.  I went in Jan for the free sessions and paid for ten more and never went so am going now.  The trainer/leader is wonderful which helps.  I like it.  I haven't lost weight yet though.  My body is physically tired from doing it on Mon and Tues.  It is a 60 minute class and last week the time went by so slow but last night I didn't look at the clock until 25 mins in!!!!! 
  • Its finals week- therefore I am stress free b/c the school year is over!!!

    With more time, and beautiful weather I have found more time to walk.  I did 7 mile walk on sunday, and 4 mile walk/run today!
