In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Donating old towels and bedding

I checked the site for YWCA, and couldn't find specific info on donating to a Philly location. The other women's shelter site I checked out, Women in Transition, says that they don't need those things right now. Does anyone have other suggestions?

Re: Donating old towels and bedding

  • Most places that provide emergency or transitional housing want new towels and bedding.

You will have a much easier time donating them to animal shelters--PAWS, SPCA, etc.

  • Interesting, hadn't thought of that! Thanks ebur78 :)
  • plus any animal rescue shelters
  • i have a bad habit if bagging/boxong crap up and leaving it in my car for months...PAWS at 2nd and arch is awesome =)

  • Almost any animal rescue will take them, but you might wNt to shoot off a quick email or phone call first. I once tried to donate and they weren't accepting any at that time.
