I'm at work nice and early today because I got a ride in with Derek, so I actually have time to post on a Wednesday morning!
I like coming into the office early, because it's so quiet and you can get so much work done. Or in my case today, so much nesting done.
Last night we trekked around town a bit, hitting up a furniture store looking at coffee table/ottoman options. We're thinking we'll replace the giant (fugly) coffee table we have with 2 bright orange storage ottomans w/ a tray on top. I was hesitant about the colour at first, but once we got home (and I plopped a similarly hued pillow in their approximate location) it seemed more like a good idea.
Tonight we have baseball, and Game Seven (dun dun dunnnnn). Who are you guys rooting for?
Andplusalso! Tim sent us a few audio clips of the girls telling us they loved us last night, and made them say "Time to have a baby!" At first it was just clips saying "I love you Uncle Derek" (awwwww) and then one for me because I was so jealous. "Aunt Andrea" came out more like "An annnn A aannnn" so funny.
Anywho, that was a novel, how is everyone doing today?
Re: Happy Hump Day!
I'm exhausted. Haven't slept since I got up at 9am yesterday. I think Edmund is having separation anxiety. When I get home from work he doesn't want me to put him down and if I do he screams. While I'm at work he does nothing but fuss for H.
Today I'm not doing anything exciting. I have today and tomorrow off. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow for my 6 week pp checkup. Hopefully everything turns out alright.
Go Canucks!
Raynes, that is freaking adorable! Stuff like that melts my heart, and of course this New Englander is routing for the Bruins!
My evening was crazy. Worked late, picked up the boys invites, addressed all the invites, dealt with a kid who wouldn't go to bed until after 9, then dealt with another kid who just didn't want to sleep lasnight. So yes, I'm over tired and cranky!
The next couple days at work, are going to be busy. I have to leave early for a Dr.'s appt. (Ugh, I hate annual physicals) Tomorrow I don't have a sitter in the morning so I have to come into work late.
I'm just looking forward to the weekend at this point. Is it Friday yet?
Edit: Just want to add that Christian took his first steps yesterday! The most he did was 5!
Boston. I don't really have a dog in this fight, but I'll always go with an Original Six team for the Stanley Cup win (yes, even Chicago!).
Morning, all. Finally got the phone call I've been waiting for. I still don't know the details because the call came while I was underground, so I'm hoping to update with some good news soon.
I'm here early because H hopped into the shower before I could say goodbye. So even though I was ready to leave for work early, I'll probably just be on time while waiting for him to hop out. Ah well. I don't like leaving without telling him to have a great day.
Last night was a quiet night, neither of us hit the gym and we both had an early dinner. Nothing too exciting.
Have a great one, ladies!
Go Canucks!
Had a fun night last night with some new girl friends. Now we're going to try to set up a salsa dancing night out which would be a blast. I haven't been out dancing in ages.
Nothing much going on today. DH is out for dinner, so quiet night at home and hoping to catch up with my mom via skype.
Cecilia arrived 12 October 2012
Raynes- That is so swet.
Kat-Yay for Christian. I can't believe he is starting to walk already. If you have any tips for first bday I would love to hear them.
Last night was pretty low key at my house. DH worked last night. I went to visit my grandmother for about an hour and she had a watermelon. The boys were one sticky mess on the way home. Thankfully Jordan had on swimming trunks and I sprayed him down with the waterhouse. He enjoyed that. My sisters computer that she just got 4 months ago stopped working so I called the customer service center or her and got it all set up to ship back.
Tonight DH is working again so I am not sure what the plan is.
Happy Hump Day
First, I want to thank those of you have been more than generous and donated to our Adoption Fund. I cannot believe what amazing people we have in our lives.
Second Big Ups to Christian for his first steps! and the Triplets ( I will call them that forever) for their cute video to Raynes and D
My day started out great, my sorority sister created an online fundraiser for us using her Tastefully Simple business so that's awesome. Also we're waiting to hear back from eBay about auctioning off our Christmas week vacation at Disney World. I
So far today the dogs have emptied out their box of toys and there is a toy and a mess in every room of the house and it's only 8:10, it's actually kind of cute. And I'm getting ready for Zumba, which is like a dance party so of course I think it's awesome. Tonight we're going to hang out with some of Sean's work buddies because today is his Friday.
Wow I wrote a lot
@ Kat - yay for milestones!
@ Susi - I hope you are finally getting what you need from the new job so you can move on.
@ Mo - I love Tastefully Simple and would spends some bucks if I had an invite to the party.
Today is just a normal work day. Yesterday, I bought tickets to the beer festival in a week and a half on the theory that it would surely make me get a BFP. I am expecting a big box of yarn from another Nestie to arrive today. I can't wait for it to get here. I need to get busy with the knitting since I want to make a bunch of Christmas presents this year. That's about it. My boss is out tomorrow and Friday so the rest of the week should be nice here.

Good Morning!
Last night, I went home took a nap and then watched The Voice. I have been taking it easy the last couple of days due to a bit of a scare on Monday.
Tonight, not sure what is on the agenda. Hopefully the grocery store since we are out of everything and then probably more relaxing.
Have a great day ladies.
I had a very uneventful evening last night. Kyle and I both felt bad so we took it easy. We both took naps after work and were very unproductive. I feel a little bit better today, although with the stormy weather here I'm pretty sure that I could have slept all day.
I don't currently have any major plans tonight, although I may get together with a friend for the Top Chef Masters finale.
H surprised me and came home last night! I didn't expect to see him until today! This means we will get 3 whole nights together this week - I'm thrilled!
Tonight I have Bikram with my friend. We go every week, but H is coming with us tonight and this will be his first time so that should be interesting (and likely miserable for him, poor guy.)
Hmm, I guess I should probably have some plans that revolve around the hockey game tonight seeing as I live in Boston, but I just don't care about hockey, haven't watched a single game all season, and don't really feel like jumping on the bandwagon at the last minute. That said, I obviously do hope the Bruins win, and it's always entertaining to see the riots that occur when a Boston team is in a championship series.
Good morning!
Raynes - Love the video clip story, too cute!
Kat - Yay for Christian!
Last night I ran to a few stores looking for a purple tank top...who knew it would be so hard to find! Then we had a quick dinner, I painted my toenails, and passed out!
Today I'm working until 11:00 then we're heading to the Rockies game! Beer and sunshine here I come!
eouellet - I'm pretty sure my plans would be to get out of the city for the night. I can't stand Boston fans and their antics sometimes.
susi - So glad to hear they finally got back to you. Hopefully it's not an omen of how they'll be handling business.
raynes - I die from the cuteness of the littles.
Last night we had another vet visit for my furbaby. Her platelet count is down again, which means we either cut the steroid intake down too fast or something else is going on. She goes in for a round of bloodwork again next week, and her steroid intake is back up. I just want this to be over already. Thankfully she's handling it better than most dogs.
In other furry news, I might go batshit crazy with all the fur in my house. I vacuumed yesterday around 4 and the house was filled again by 7 when we got home from the vet. I really wish we could just shave their butts and get it over with. Praying for nice weather this weekend to get in some bath time for all of them and then lots of brushing to hopefully be done with it for the season. Never again will I go the fluffy route. Or, I will invent a house I can hose down twice a year.
Ha, too true! (Although Celts fans don't annoy me, but I think I'm biased towards basketball.) Maybe we should head to the suburbs and visit in the ILs - kill 2 birds with one stone, ha.
I thought today was Thursday up until about a half hour ago.
The 8th graders graduated last night, so none of them are in school today. Not that I blame them...I would love to know whose bright idea is was to hold graduation a week before school ends. So no students = nothing to do.
I have a dentist appointment after work, which I am not looking forward to. Other than that, a pretty normal night.
