I am feeling completely uninspired to cook lately. I need to stop the take-out trend I've been on and make something healthy but it's so HOT I don't feel like having the oven on. I'm trying to stay away from chicken and our grill is out of propane. Any ideas? I need help.
Re: What's for dinner?
No idea. all I have for meat in the fridge is ground beef, and I'm totally not feeling that.
Some kind of wrap sounds good. black bean & spinach wrap sounds very summery & delish
I love google sometimes.

mmm. Black bean burgers sound yum! chris doesn't love them, but he'll eat them.
I made this twice now and it's delicious. I add in whatever veggies I have on hand too - corn, celery, zuchinni, etc. YUM!
Tortilla Soup
I know you are thinking soup? It's 95 degrees out and 100% humidity, but I heard that eating hot things in hot weather is better at regulating your body temperature... or some new age sh!t like that.

yes soup when it 106 out sounds stupid - but, that soups looks tasty! I have all the ingredients on hand and it's meat free ( meat sounds so heavy and gross right now).. I might give it a try.
Trust me. It's good. Just don't go walk the dog before hand and come home sweaty.
