s/o wine: Top 10 under $10
I got this in an email today and thought I'd share since we were recently discussing.
Has anyone tried any of these?
I've actually had the first one (Chateau Reisling), my sister loves this!
Re: s/o wine: Top 10 under $10
Nope, haven't tried any of them but I know the liquor store down the street from me carries the Barefoot brand, so maybe I'll pick up a bottle of that tomorrow after work. Thanks for sharing, Hannah! I'll have to bookmark that.
I've had the Trapiche Malbec - it's decent. Though we usually stick with the Casillero del Diablo better for a cheap malbec. (It's usually around $12.)
And I think I've had the Hogue Cabernet. I've definitely had one of their wines, but I remember it being solidly mediocre.

That was on an AOL list a few years ago for top 10 white wines under $10 and I was so intrigued by wine in a tetra pack that I had to order it. I got 4 little boxes, like, iced tea boxes lol, for 9-ish bucks and they rocked.
The funny thing was, a few years later we went to Maine for vacay and Wally World had it in their wine section. I freaked out I was so stoked lol. Still have yet to find it NY though :O(
Grr I meant to buy the Barefoot Riesling last night to try it out this weekend but picked up the Sauvignon Blanc instead. I got a big ol' bottle of it on sale for $10.99, woohoo! This is what the description says on Barefoot's website...
"The perfect wine to pack in your picnic basket, Barefoot Sauvignon is full of the flavors of ripe summer fruit. Sweet notes of honeydew melon, juicy nectarine and white pear."
Sounds pretty good; I'll let you all know what I think.
