Who is excited about the last Harry Potter movie coming out in a month!! Anyone going to see it at midnight?
Re: To get the board moving
I've gone to some of the midnight showings in the past, but my buddy who used to go with me moved away.
I STILL haven't seen Part 1 of the Deadly Hallows. I keep telling myself I need to re-read the last few books before I see them since I don't remember anything from the 7th book!
I told DH when we went to see Part 1 that I wanted to see Part 2 at the midnight showing. I've only done that with one other movie, none of the HP ones, and I'm SO excited (and sad) for this last installment. The theatre closest to us is doing a midnight showing, but I'd have to figure out where to take Mia, DH and I would either have to take off work (which I can't do thanks to the 2011-from-hell-) or be exhausted, and it just feels like more trouble than it's worth.

Nope and nope. In general I try not to see movies when I've already read the book. It often spoils the characters, or my pictured version of them, for me. As for Harry Potter in general the books got a little to violent for me towards the end and I'm sure the movie will just be worse.
I hope all who go and see it love it!
I've had my heart set on going to the midnight showing since the last one came out...and then I went and got pregnant. DH doesn't think I can stay up until midnight and that I'll have to pee all the way through it. I was seriously contemplating how I could do it. I may just wait until the 7 pm showing. It makes me sad because I love midnight showings...all the crazy people show up and there's just something about being in that first crowd of people to see it! That and I know that after the baby comes we won't even be making it to a movie for awhile so I wanted this last time to be a big deal.
But absolutely going to see it!
