Hey! Welcome to the board. It's a little slow here, but I'll attribute it to it being summer time.
Congrats on your recent wedding!
I'm out near Fuquay
We've lived there for about 2 years now and LOVE it
Tell us a bit about yourself
thanks for all the warm welcomes! I graduated from NCSU and now work at a financial firm in North Hills and my hubby is a full time Firefighter & EMT in Cary. We have lived in Fuquay for almont a year now and we love it too
I lived in Cary before so Fuquay is much smaller so we had a little trouble getting used to things being further away from home. But we really like it...just wish we knew a few more people out there.... most of our friends are still in Cary or Raleigh. I am hoping Fuquay will get some more shopping/restaurants soon!
I need to get back on a workout plan...does anyone belong to the o2 fitness or the club worx?
I honestly hope Fuquay doesn't get too much bigger. I like the idea of a small little town that still has festivals just because.
Plus beaver creek isn't that far
I do wish there was a theater here. DH and I have joked that it'd be awesome to build a small theater and keep it classic like. It would show classic movies and new movies.
We've also joked about a drive-in here. That would be pretty cool
I've heard ClubWorx is better. I believe it has a pool and offers a little more variety, but I could be wrong.
What side of fuquay are you in? We're over near SouthPark.

I think Fuquay needs a Target and it would be perfect.
I actually belong to ClubWorx, and personally think it's a nice gym. Some of the reviews online aren't too good, but I've never had a problem. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
ShhLovesJkh: I'm right there with you on that, however I'd get in a LOT of trouble there lol. We need one of those and a Homegoods. I personally think a Homegoods would fit nicely right beside Kohls!
Are you in Fuquay too?
Good deal! That's a gorgeous neighborhood! One of the couples in our lifegroup at church lives over there. So So So pretty!!! Plus, you're right down the road from Sunni Skies! Lol.
There aren't any dog parks built yet, to my knowledge. I *think* that there is a plan for one though. I have no idea when it'd be built. The neighborhood connected to us is also supposed to build one once they finish the houses. There are the Raleigh dog parks though, however they don't have pools to my knowledge. They may put little doggie pools out in the summer though.
We just put a little wading pool in the back and let our guys go at it.
I'm a little north of Fuquay, and have a Raleigh address. I've been wondering if anything else is going in beside/near Kohls.
