New Couch

Hooray! I am so excited tonight DH and I are going shopping to buy a new couch. This is years overdue. Our current couch is a 15 year old hand me down that John grew up with, then his brother took it when his parents got new furniture and finally we got it when BIL got new furniture. So we have had this couch for about 4 years now, since we moved into our first apartment together.

Here is description of the current couch lol

It is a brown leather sectional, with reclining end sections. When we moved from apartment to house DH put the couch in the back of his pick up. On the way there he hit a pot hole and the corner piece flew out of the back. So now if you sit on the corner you might just fall off the couch because the leg is broken off. For the last year I have been teaching our little dog Duke to jump over the couch in an attempt to break the back off it. Well Gus our other puppy did one better, about 3 weeks ago we came home to find cushion stuffing all over the living room. So right now there is a gaping hole in the cushion.

So finally after years of begging, we ran into a little extra money and DH is willing to spend it on a new couch. HOORAY!!!!! Oh yeah we are still keeping this monstrosity, it is just going in the family room rather than the living room. I don't care about that though the good TV is in the living room. :)
