Has anyone ever had their power lines buried or
their air conditioning unit moved? We want to do a pretty substantial patio expansion and these two things would be necessary, but I don't even know where to start. I don't even know if it costs hundreds of dollars or thousands.
TIA.
Re: Has anyone ever had their power lines buried or
We have not, but I called the electric company many, many years ago about burying the power lines to the house. It wasn't cheap. I think it was a cost per foot...(this was 8 years ago). It was in the high hundreds, if I remember correctly. But I'd start there as far as power line burial.
I also don't know if there are other servicers that do this, or if you can only go through the power company.
You wanna update me on what the current rate is when you find out too? I've been thinking about it as well. Our power lines connect to the side of our house and it would be nice to have them buried!
