So, I am meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner tonight. I discovered this cute little cupcake shop next to my work, so I decided I would get my friend some cupcakes for her birthday.
Of course, I bought a coconut cream cheese frosted treat for myself. This is my lunch. . .
Just as I was polishing off the last delicious morsel, I get a call from Coastal Women's saying I passed the GD test.
Phew. . . I don't think I'm cut out for a low sugar diet!

So excited to meet Peanut this fall!

A girl after my own heart!
I had two (yes, two) cupcakes for dinner last night, and a handful of broccoli florets. They weighed about the same, so I considered it a balanced meal.

I had 3 mini cupcakes on Monday (leftover from my shower) and then got the call that I failed... I definitely enjoyed those cupcakes but would have loved to know if they were possibly my last for a while (now waiting for the results of the 3hr! I might have a cupcake to celebrate if I pass)
I haven't scheduled my test yet, but I'm nervous.
Yesterday I needed an even $25 in cash so I took $40 out of the ATM and went to DD to get a chocolate glazed doughnut to make change. My reasoning was rational at the moment.
