Hi all,
Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I miss you all and I miss hanging out in here. Hope everyone is well!
We just got some news today that after 41 years in business, the mom & pop company DH works for has been sold to a nationwide corporation. He still has a job, but will be moving back to the location closer to home and taking his old job back as an outside sales rep after the 1st of next month. He liked inside sales better but he's going to give this all he's got. Insurance will be better but right now they don't pay for it; he thinks they are going to start charging. A good thing is, they will have happy customers once again because a lot of them were complaining when he was sent to the location 47 miles from here. And with it being a corporation there should be more room for advancement so there's a chance he could move up at some point. Keep your fingers crossed for him!
We're also getting new neighbors across the street. A younger married couple with 4 kids. We met the guy today, with his oldest boy (teenager) and he seemed like a pretty nice man. Mike welcomed him to the neighborhood and told him to come over for a beer when they get settled in.
Well I'm hoping to get on more often so I can keep up a little better with everyone and what's going on!!! Have a great rest of your week!!
Re: A quick hello!
Hi Cindy, we miss you on here! I hope everything works out well for Mike with the job transition. It sounds like it could really be a great thing.
Great to hear from you.
Hey! I was thinking about you the other day and was almost going to page you! So glad you popped in to say "hi". I'll keep my fingers crossed for Mike. Sounds like it could be an interesting ride over the next several months.
I hope you can stop and "chat" longer next time!
