working in cherry hill living in pa
i have a potential job opportunity that would be putting me in Cherry Hill, NJ. I would prefer to stay on the PA side for several reasons but most of all DH. His job is in the burbs. Where would be the best place to live that would be central. I would like to take the train if possible is that possible? I was thinking in the city somewhere or along route 30.
TIA

Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
I can't answer for the train, but I used to commute from Delco to Mt Laurel (past Cherry Hill) and it wasn't too bad. I took 95 to the Ben Franklin Bridge and continued down 38.
As LTP said, where does your DH work? The city would be easy for you, but might not be easy for your DH depending on where he works. I have also commuted from the city to the Plymouth Mtg area and it was awful, even when avoiding 76.
NJ Transit's Atlantic City rail line stops in Cherry Hill. You can board it at 30th Street station.
You could also connect with PATCO (more stations in Center City Phila), but it does not stop in Cherry Hill. The closest stop on PATCO is probably Haddonfield. You would need to connect to a bus from the PATCO station.
I agree with pps that traveling to Cherry Hill via train might not be that simple. I would suggest looking into the South Philly/Center City area. Both are close to the major highways into the burbs and South Jersey.
These are nearly in the opposite direction from Cherry Hill, so yes, Philadelphia would be a central option. Route 30 would work but you'd want to be close to City Line Avenue (Route 1) I would think.
You can take 30 through West Philly and basically pick up the expressway (I-76) at the zoo.
Yeah that's right my name's Yauch!
