H's birthday is next Friday and it's getting down to the wire here. He's very hard to shop for and he usually weasel's out of me what he's getting ahead of time, then tells me he doesn't want it, and makes a different suggestion. Boo.
Remember the incident with the gross crock pot? Well, awhile back he admitted to me the same thing happened with his breakfast sandwich maker. (He's a sucker for kitchen gadgets). He'd packed it up after college without washing it, took it out after we moved here, discovered it was foul, and put it back in the box back away. I had no idea until he told me after I suggested we get it out to use for the toaster portion. I don't even want to open the box. *headdesk*
Is that a dumb present? He doesn't need clothes or electronic crap and he has more books right now than he'll read in a year. He wants a pen but he just bought a nice one a few months ago and I can't afford the $150 for the one he wants.
Other than this sandwich maker thing, I can only think of getting him a gift card to a restaurant or something. Does anyone have any ideas?
Re: Need a bday present for H (long, sorry)
I think it looks like a great gift!
...you also just reminded me that DH's birthday is in a matter of weeks.
