So, ladies and Ginger, how is your week going?
Anything other than the Bruins going on?
Re: Thursday!
I totally woke up this morning and thought it was Friday. That's the worst!
We had our staff picnic at work yesterday, and it was the first time I wasn't on program, so I actually got to go and enjoy it. And, as a bonus, I got to go home early. It was awesome. Tonight, my husband and I are FINALLY going out for a belated-birthday dinner. We decide to try Sandrines in Harvard Square, since he has to go home to let the dog out first. It didn't make any sense for him to go all the way home, and then all the way back into the city. (He works at South Station; we live in Belmont.)
Wait, Lady E - was the baptism over the weekend? If so, I missed any updates - I hope everything went smoothly!
Yup, the baptism was on Sunday, thanks for asking
. It was great, and everything went off without a hitch. But some of my family was at my house until 9:30pm! And DH has been traveling for work this week and had to leave at 3pm for the airport. Luckily my cousin helping me clean because it would've been a b!tch to have to do it by myself.
Have a fun birthday dinner!
I just got back from AZ late Tuesday night/early Wednesday morning so I'm still re-adjusting to daily life. The good news is that MIL is doing well so we're hoping that the news is good when she sees the doctor again next week. And thanks to you all for your kind thoughts, by the way!
It's been so gorgeous out these last couple of days. I really wish I was outside playing volleyball instead of stuck in the office!
Rock, I'm glad she's doing well. Fingers crossed for some good news next week!
And Lady E, I'm glad everything went well for the baptism!
Very busy.
I am seriously counting down the seconds until I have DS in my arms again though! The nanny texted me the cutest freaking pic of him yesterday for our afternoon check in and I just melted.
Life is good! My fourth and fifth graders had their concert on Wednesday, which went well. Tonight we are going to see the Drowsy Chaperon (although I'm rather drowsy myself.) This weekend we are heading up to Maine to stay with friends that have a house in Kennebunk. Looking forward to getting a way for a few days.
Just need to stay focused until June 28... my last day of school for this year!
My time at work this week has been really hard, and I am so happy that I have tomorrow off. I took the 1 hr glucose test this week, and they say no call is good news so I am REALLY hoping that I passed. I figure I am good if I don't hear back tomorrow.
Also I have received baby gifts this week! I got a swing, and a high chair off of my registry. I am so super excited. It was so nice! DH already put together the swing.
That is late for us. In fact, I had signed a contract to teach at a conference next Thursday and Friday because I was supposed to be free earlier in the week. The school year just kept getting pushed forward because of the snow days. Stupid snow...
