I've never been. Give me your pointers.
I hate amusement parks. Ugh.
Re: Cedar Point
NEVER!?!?!
Tip.... let me replace you. You stay home and clean my house... I'll go ride the big bad scary rides.
Pay for my way and I will go for you instead. haha - I LOOOOOVE Cedar Point!
Be prepared to wait in long lines though - esp for the newer coasters. Wear comfy shoes - ones that won't fall off on rides. If you wear sunglasses - bring cheap ones you won't be sad to lose/break.
Sadly I have to go. I promised.
Good point on the sunglasses. Thanks.

Cedar Point is better than any amusement park you've ever been to. Seriously. Do you like rollercoasters?
I usually bring a backpack purse and wear it backwards on the rides that don't have a chest harness.
Also, ditto the sunscreen. Take a bottle of water that you can refill at the drinking fountains to avoid paying $4/bottle.
Ditto this. We actually usually pack a cooler in the car, and take a break from the park at some point (they stamp your hand so you can go back in). We pack cold drinks and lunch and walk down to the beach to eat. Saves a ton of money.
No.

Me neither. I would make sure other people bring backpacks so you have to sit with them while everyone else goes on the ride. That is what I usually do.
Hm. Maybe bring a book then? You can just ride the Sky Ride back and forth all day.
)
I second this. I will go with McVay and ride the big bad scary rides.
Yep, and it'll be party shaded. This is where you will find me all day saturday!

I'm sorry, I like rollercoasters but that thing scares the crap out of me! I always feel like my little cart is about to crash to the ground.
Definitely bring a book if you're not going to go on the rides - my mom hates the rides and I always felt so bad for her, she would just sit there and wait for us and some of the lines are hours long!!
