s/o baby names...

We talk about names every now and then. Rodgers won't commit to one. I guess that makes it easier, since we aren't telling the name IRL, I can honestly say, "We haven't decided yet." No matter how much people pry, I can't tell them the name because we don't have one. Smile We at least have a list which we can choose from on his birthday if it comes to that.

Middle name will be Richard (my dad), since Nate's MN is/was FIL's. Richard seems weird as a MN to me, but we're going to go with it. We won't use it as a first name because my brother has dibs (he, my dad, and my grandfather have the same first, middle, and last names).

Rodgers' top two first names are Andrew and Benjamin.

Mine are Caleb and Simon.

We both loved Timothy, but it's kind of rhymey with our last name, and I can't live with that.

Re: s/o baby names...

  • I liked Caleb and DH liked Simon.

I don't think Timothy is too TERRIBLY rhyme-y.

  • I scoff, but not really ... Simon is so popular, as a first name, other than family, I have yet to meet someone with my same last name !!

I like Benjamin but I think with Richard as a middle name, a shorter first name would be better.

  • I like Andrew but think Caleb goes better with Richard. I'm totally with you on Timothy being too rhymey. And we were in the same boat, didn't agree on names so it was easy not telling anyone, lol.
