My review is in July. Last year my boss asked me how long I planned to stay with the company and I said a couple of years, because I'm going to school. Well I'm now looking for something new somewhere else. I'm not done with school, but I am done with my hometown. If I still don't have a job by my review date and she asks me again how long I plan to stay, should I tell her I'm thinking of moving ASAP or keep my mouth shut. Also I have a hard time lying and people can tell if I do.

Re: Review Time
Keep your mouth shut.
Be creative and come up with something that doesn't indicate a specific amount of time.

It's never wise to tell your employer your intentions to leave if you don't have another job lined up, especially during your review. Your plans could change and you don't want to find yourself without a job at all.
