I don't get it :( hurting for a friend
My friend was engaged about 3 years ago they got to about 6 weeks before the wedding and things just were not working and they called the wedding off the day before her shower. I believe the root of this stemmed with issues of his parents not approving of the wedding. It basically came down to him having to choose between her or them.
They separated for a very short time (days) and he moved back in and they continued life as if nothing really happened. Her mom lost about 6,000 in deposits.
They got re-engaged a few months ago. They set a date for the end of July. We took bridal portraits yesterday. Yesterday afternoon they were supposed to meet with the pastor for the first time since they called it off. He didn't show up. I am at a loss for words at this point. I'm past the sad and just moved to furious with him. I'm so sad for my friend 
She's had a lot of tragic events in her life she just does not deserve this.

That is horrible. Wonder if his parents got to him again. I would be ticked that he didn't even show up or even call.

That is horrible. Just be there as her friend to lend your shoulder and comfort her during this time. What a d bag!
