It's almost the end of the day, and we might as well combine it with the fun tomorrow brings.
Tell me something especially dirty, please?
Re: Unpopular Opinions/FFFC
I'll start.
I bought a new rabbit yesterday. I have no intention of sharing this information with H. I think I'll explain my unusually good mood on my personality.
I have a girl crush on Jenna Marbles. The girl who does the videos. Okay, fine, I'll share--go look. Probably NSFW at all:

Due to DH working 70-80 hrs/week and me feeling like a beached whale most of the time, DH and I haven't had sex in a week (9 days actually, but who's counting?!)--it's the longest we've gone without since we've been together (except when he's been working OOT) and I'm going CRAZY. I almost cried the other day when the batteries in my favorite toy died.
As evidenced by my very early post, I have just about had it with H's snoring. I know he's not doing it on purpose, but still, I'm the one who's suffering and I don't see him doing anything to make the problem better. We do not have a guest bedroom set up, so sometimes I sleep on the couch until the sprinklers wake me up (they hit the back door to get to a certain part of the yard) but I should not have to do this.
Last night, he evidently forgot about the sprinkler in the front yard and left it going for a couple of hours. I was livid. All he could say was, "it's the only bill you pay." Um, I pay for all your food, jerk. You eat well. I'm sorry that I don't make very much, that's not a reason to discount me being upset that you're wasting water.
I'm cranky.
I agree about the whole Anthony Weiner shouldn't have resigned thing.
I'm starting to have baby fever again, but I'm not ready for another one. JJ has regressed into the Terrible 2's, and it's been very, very stressful. I'm terrified to start fully potty training, because I'm not sure if that'll make things better or worse.
I plan on buying a big bottle of wine tomorrow while I'm at my mom's and having a glass or two after JJ goes to bed tomorrow night. I might just do it tonight, depending on how the day goes. I'm cranky and need to snap out of it.
Close your eyes stripes...
I don't know what has gotten into SO lately, but he wants to do the deed every single day. Given that we've been together for nearly six years now, we were starting to become like an old married couple, but for the past few weeks, it's like suddenly he's been jumpstarted again and can't get enough. Nor can he even wait until we get into the bedroom so he'll just yank me down on the floor with him. For the most part I like the new change, but when I have an early morning meeting or need to get up early, I just wish he would either behave or go down the express lane before he tries to keep me up all night. I know sex on a schedule doesn't sound so exciting, but I really like my sleep during the week.
MY EYES!!! MY EYES!!!! MY EYES!!!!!!!!!!
Lol.
Being a housewife has gotten me a lot more sexytime. I will just leave it at that unlike Snowful who seared my corneas with her story.
I seriously don't understand why people seem to think that they can out restrictions on other people's rights. If it doesn't directly affect you why worry about it. This is mainly related to gay people wanting the right to marry. I may not choose this lifestyle for myself, but what other people do in their lives do not directly affect me so I don't see the point to get upset about it. If people want to get married let them. same goes for abortion.
There's an article today in the Oklahoman about the cost of college tuition going up. It fails to mention that 1., the only reason it's going up is because the state is subsidizing tuition 35% less than in 2006 and 2., most professors haven't had a raise at my university since 2003.
The comments about "fat cat professors" make me stabby, though. One of them suggests cutting our salaries in half. If you cut our salaries in half, some of our professors (who have PhDs) would then be eligable for Food Stamps and Medicaid. Seriously.
Why the anti-intellectualism?
amanjay, the comments on newsok.com articles seriously make me sad.
I also can't stand to read the comments on newsok.com. The people are trolls, misinformed, or just blissfully ignorant.
I don't like most people use the term "pro-life" to mean only anti-abortion. In my mind, someone who's pro-life should also care about what happens to the child once he/she's born, care about quality of life for seniors, oppose the death penalty, etc.
Why can't we just call controversial topics by their descriptive names rather than by often biased euphemisms (i.e. Obamacare)?
