IT'S FRIDAY!!!!
Today: running around like a mad woman trying to get everything ready for this weekend - bringing Sami up to MIL's work so she can show her off to her friends, watching my friend's son for a little bit while my friend goes to an appt, and then errands, errands, and more errands in preparation for our trip to the Cape and Father's Day. Finishing up the day visiting with my dad since we won't be seeing him Sunday.
Saturday - Sunday: Overnight on th Cape! Staying in Welfleet, making our way to P-town and Truro, taking Sam to the beach, going to a drive-in, shopping on the boardwalk, and taking a tour of the winery.
Monday: Thankfully, off of work, and will be from here on out, because as of next week I'm starting my 4-day Tues-Friday working schedule as Sam starts her new daycare on Wednesday! Also, Sam's 9-month appt, and a therapy session later in the afternoon. Non-stop!
Happy Fathers Day to all your dads out there! ![]()
Re: Weekend Plans!
Red Sox game tomorrow with H, my parents, and H's family. Don't get me wrong, I'm pumped the Bruins won, but the parade, and then the delay of the Red Sox game from 1pm to 7pm, really jacked our plans up. Oh well, should still be fun.
Maybe visiting some friends tonight and their 1 week old baby.
I love that area of the Cape, I hope you have a great time! The drive-in is great, and on Saturday and Sundays during the day they have a great Flea Market there. Wellfleet Harbor area is nice, the Bookstore is nice for dinner, or there is also a great clam shack right on the harbor. The Beachcomber in Wellfleet could be fun for a lunch or early dinner, it is known for it's night life, but I know my parents have enjoyed early dinner/lunch there before (it is overlooking the beach).
Ptown is so eccentric....fantastic people watching, good food (if you like chowder, hit up the Lobster Pot in the center of town), fun little stores.
Hope you have a great trip with your family, and yay for new daycare next week...I hope you guys are feeling good about it.
I totes didnt know if you knew or not and I didnt want to ask you yesterday. I'll be there!
tonight- painting the entertainment system, fish for dinner, no other plans.
tomorrow- andys helping build his brothers driveway and i have K-harts baby shower. i'll also probably do some shopping. stuffed shells for dinner.
sunday- BIL is coming over to do some electrical work, then lunch with my dad and dinner with FIL.
Today: Work until 5, SIL's graduation party and then friends are coming down tonight and crashing at our place in preparation for tomorrow....
Tomorrow: Bruins Rolling Rally, chinese food birthday dinner celebration for some friends.
Sunday: Hosting a Fathers Day Cookout
I was wondering if they were going to postpone the game to a night game. Sorry it messes up your plans - but maybe you can do both now?
Tonight- Chipotle and groceries. Then, baking whoopie pies and peanut butter cheesecake brownies and dark chocolate gooey butter cookies. Passing out.
Tomorrow- Decorating 2 kinds of truffles and making sure everything is perfect with the goods before delivering them to a bday party. Then, I'm attending a bday party at the restaurant that has the best (local) crabs ever.
Sunday- Sleeping in and seeing Super 8 I believe. Vacuuming if I get ambitious, and maybe trying to cut more fabric.
Stand up for something you believe in.
I'm really excited because today is the first day DH and I are both not working since June 9th.
Today: grocery shopping, relaxing, then heading out to a Pub for my coworkers' graduation party from nursing school.
Saturday: going out to dinner for FIL's birthday/Father's Day
Sunday: no plans right now
Monday: my BFF comes to town, and I get my blood drawn which I am stupidly excited about (until they pull out the needle and try and find my puny veins).
Congrats to both my TTC buddies, Amberley18 and sb2006 on their beautiful babies!
Today, just stuff around the house. My night plans got cancelled.
Sat. - going to a pet health fair/charity event, then going to see some live music at night. Have to help DH with some food prep/groceries for Sun.
Sun: hosting Father's Day at our house. Our parents are coming, and some cousins.
MB, your plans sound awesome! I have never been to a drive-in.
Today: work, leftovers, actually going and getting the housewarming gift I've been putting off getting all week, making tortilla rollups.
Saturday: clean, grocery store, make margarita cupcakes Housewarming/Birthday Party starting in the early evening.
Sunday: no idea, my dad's in FL, my stepdad is in WI and my FIL has already made plans but Jay will not call to find out what they are. So we may be spending Father's Day at home relaxing doing whatever we want :insert arm twisting here:
Monday: taking one of my furlough days since my judge is in Nevada for a week. Jay and I get to spend the whole day together which never happens. We're going to drop my car off at the repair shop, go to sushi lunch and then maybe a movie.
I think I'm most looking forward to Monday...how often do you say that?!?!?!?
Yeah, it's not a huge deal, just with my parents coming into town, things got complicated. We aren't sure yet about the parade AND the game, it would be a loooong day. We'll see how ambitious we are feeling in the AM. Hope you have fun though....love the siggy pic:)
Today: Cleaning organizing different rooms of the house. Going to VS to get another bra or two because I have somehow gone up another cup size.
Sat-Sun: Spending time in NJ for father's day.
<a href="http://s65.photobucket.com/albums/h205/adia83/?action=view
today: getting ready to eat breakfast and go for a run, have my annual girlie doctor appt at 10:30. Then running some errands, then I have a 90 minute massage at 2. HEAVEN, can't wait! Then home to get some misc things done, burgers and corn on the cob for dinner. Excited to RELAX tonight!
Saturday: my veggie garden needs some serious TLC, the weeds are starting to take over! Also need to work on some SP stuff, figure out how I'm going to keep track of everything. Anyone have a spare license on Quickbooks I can buy? Or is REALLY good at Excel? Oh, and we're probably going to go see the new X-man movie Saturday night. Homemade Thai food for dinner.
Sunday: the goal is to do as little as possible! Scones and mimosas for breakfast, relaxing, making watermelon frozen yogurt. I hope that is the extent of my productivity on Sunday.
Today: Also running around like a mad woman (bake bread, cookies, birthday cake, make and refrigerate dough for sticky buns, pack, clean house, call dr and find out why they're billing me instead of my insurance for my lady dr visit last month and why in the world they haven't given my bc prescrip to the pharmacy, then run over to the winery and buy a growler of beer for father's day. I also wanted to get over to the church and practice harpsichord, but I'm not sure I'll make it)
Saturday: load car, then BEACH.
Sunday: lots of beach, father's day and then birthday party for me, Clint and my uncle (hence the birthday cake)
Monday-Friday: beachbeachbeach. I'm so excited to go for a whole week! Wednesday: our 6th anniversary.
Groceries and take-out tonight.
Tomorrow, cleaning house and Wingfest! Woo!
Sunday, father's Day breakfast for Guy, then he gets a Guy day while Ellie and I go play in the pool.
Tonight: Bank, buy chinchilla food and ILs for a little bit.
Tomorrow: My cousin's daughter's 1st bday party, then bonfire at a friend's house.
Sunday: Possible graduation party and cleaning
