I want to go to a winery for my Bday next month. Can anyone rec a good one? Also, has anyone heard of or done thelittlewinebus.com ? I really like the idea of this, but not sure if my friends will be able to spend $135 bucks.
Re: Wine Tours
I just did a wine tour this weekend for my friend's bachelorette party. We did 5 wineries on the Shawangunk Trail. We stayed mostly in the Washingtonville area. My favorite was Brotherhood (so excited to go back there tomorrow to buy some wine!). We only went to Adair in New Paltz but the other ones in New Paltz are awesome. The wineries ranged from $5-$7 for tastings. I thought Stoutridge was interesting as it is the only organic winery and I have an allergy to sulfites (I only break into rashes so I still drink wine). The execution wasn't planned well though. We rented a van for 9 of us and it was $83/pp (we took on the cost of the bride so there were really 10 in the van). I would rather do a limo for that price!
Oooh, I want in on this! Let's plan one!!
Thanks!!! Melis: i would love info on the one you did. thats an awesome price!
anyone have plans on July 9? that's my bday...everyone is invited! lets drink!
