So I started the day by going to school for my 5th grader's graduation! I'm very excited for them but I'm really going to miss them (and knowing that I have a job). Pictures below are from today... 38 weeks and I painted my own toes!
Then off to my Dr appt. - this is where things go :-(
Apparently my BP was high (its has been slowly getting there) and I have protein in my urine. So I have to go to blood work tomorrow and do a 24 hour Urine catch on Sunday (sounds like a blast!). I have to turn in my cup-o-pee on Monday and my DR will have the results by Tues. I have an appt Tues at 11:30 to find out what the tests say. Ricky will be coming with me because if my #'s are up then we will have to talk induction - Just the thought had me in tears in the Drs office today. So I am not having that discussion alone!
Then she tells me that I'm not going into work, I'm done. I had to convince her that I wasn't going to be running around (I work Daycare in the PM) because my kids are older and I can sit and play with them. And that tomorrow I would just be there to say bye for the last day of school and I wouldn't be doing anything strenuous. So tomorrow is my last day at both jobs... then I'm off for 'Modified Bedrest' .. this should be fun.
As of right now Baby and I are just fine. But she says she wants to keep it that way. As do it. So I will know more on Tuesday. Fingers crossed that my protein doesn't increase, my blood work comes out fine and my BP gets itself in check.
Thanks for reading - here are some pics!
Edited to Add: Thanks Ladies. Wanted to say that I DID have some progress at this appt. 36 weeks I was high, hard and closed - this week I was 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced :-) I totally forgot to add that when I typed this last night!

Re: lots of stuff and PIP
that is no fun! I know how you feel because I was there but at 34 weeks and on strict bed rest.
Make sure to stock up on gossip magazines and good books.
you look great! ALL baby!!!
GL with the tests, hopefully everything goes ok! Don't be terrified of an induction it wasn't all that bad! It's all about what's best for the baby and doctors know best!
Looking good!! Good luck with all the tests and hopefully you don't have to go on bedrest.
