So - my lovely DH was giving the cat his medicine ysterday (a really gooey liquid) and totally missed...... The medicine is ALL over my cat.... (URRRR.) - NO idea why DH didn't stop when he realized it missed the cats mouth the first time....
Anyone have any ideas on how to clean him off....
You should know - he is very old, and can't see well. I think a bath or trip to the groomers would be WAY too tramatic for him.....
Please help!

Re: Furbaby Owners......
Baby wipes?
Cloth wipes with water?
I would just get a wash cloth and get it really damp with warm water and try to get the medicine off by wiping his fur with the washcloth. That is, if he's a calm cat who doesn't mind being held.
If not then maybe just try the same type of thing but with a towel and wrap him up in it. Then just sort of scrub him a bit.
HTH!

He is a very calm cat and will tolerate quite a bit.
Tried papertowels last night but got me no where.
My next thought was also a really wet washcloth..... And maybe some soap....
I could sort of kill DH for this. The cat is a sticky mess.... UGH.
I thought about that too but there is so much of it - I feel like I'll be leaving him bald.... Poor little guy.
I found waterless shampoo and cat wipes at Petsmart..... going to stop and get both...
Thanks for the help ladies...

Poor sweetie!! I'd try a warm washcloth.
Brushing!!! that is genious!
I know! and the medication is b/c he's constipated. Doesn't that just make you feel worse for him!?!?!?
Oh he's just getting kicked while he's down at this point!
