Re: Tonya
Thanks.
I always try to stop by once or twice a week to see what is going on with everyone. We have been crazy busy with life.
Nathan was in the hospital for two weeks, then out for two weeks, then back in for a week. He only went back to school last week for the first time since April.
Clarence was coaching Mikayla's flag football team and he started a new job which makes it necessary for him to fly back and forth between here and Florida.
Mikayla is on the swim team! And she is so awesome. She is not the best swimmer, but she is the hardest worker.
And I have been appointed to be a member of an Advisory Committee on Students with Disabilities for the school board. This is still unofficial news, but should be official next month.
I am sure summer will be ten times busier than the school year, but at least it will be all fun stuff. Anyways, you probably didn't want all that, but you got it.
PGAL/PAL Always Welcome
I've been wondering about you guys - thanks for the update!!
I hope Nathan is better now...poor little guy. And congrats to Mikayla on the swim team! That's awesome!
Congrats on the appointment, too. That's awesome. Sounds like you guys have been super busy!!
I love these updates!!
I'm glad Nathan is back in school. I'm sorry he spent so much time in the hospital. I'm sure that was tough for you guys.
Great for Mikayla and the swim team. It's so nice when you can see the drive in your children to work for something. Plus, swimming is a ton of fun!
Will Clarence be flying back and forth for now on with his new job or is this just a temporary thing?
Also congrats on your appointment! That is great news for you!
Clarence will have to travel between VA and FL about once a month for meetings and stuff, but he is doing really well. So if you know anyone who needs a lobbyist, let me know.
The concierge thing is such a great idea, but I did not have the personality for it, so after a few clients, I let it go. I have been asked to do a lot of special education stuff and to do some consulting on IEP information and filing state complaints for noncompliance, so I am setting some things up to do that. Mainly I would let people find me rather than actually pushing it as a business.
Right now I just want to be available to Nathan and Mikayla. And of course, I spend 18 hours a day contemplating phantom pg symptons, peeing on sticks, and just obsessing about getting pg again.
PGAL/PAL Always Welcome
I must admit I am personally THRILLED you are doing the sped stuff!!! We need more people like that because it really keeps schools accountable! So, yay! I really got interested in the whole law aspect of it when I took my master's law class. I feel so empowered now and I'm just a teacher
Anyway, what was going on with Nathan? Is everything ok? How did Monday rituals work out? Mikayla is turning into such a beautiful young lady too! I can't believe how big they are now. Are you doing IVF? I'm truthfully scared to start everything. I'm giving myself until January to get weight off and mentally prepare myself but I have to admit, I'm a little terrified.
