i am trying to finish up my registry for my baby shower this summer... so i was just curious:
1. what was the one thing that you wish you added to your baby registry that you didn't?
2. what was one thing you registered for that you never used?

Hello. I've waited here for you. Everlong<3<br>
Re: moms come in - poll
1. Moby Wrap and Ergo Carrier - the Moby saved me in the first several months and I still use the Ergo now.
2. Snap and Go - we ended up returning it months later. I just never felt that the seat was secure in it (Chicco) and loved the travel system stroller (still do).
Canon 50D, Canon 50mm f/1.4, Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8, Speedlite 430EX II
1. The bumbo seat. I didn't know it existed at the time and luckily had a gift card to buy it after the fact. C loved it and it allowed me to get some cleaning done. She just sat there and watched me.
2. Baby Bjorn - I tried C in it a couple of times around the house but haven't used it outside yet and don't know if I ever will.
I had to go out and buy the moby, loved it from that moment on.
I rarely used my bumbo, LB wouldn't sit in it.
The only baby stuff I needed to go out and buy after K was born was nursing related stuff- nursing pads, storage bags, bras/tanks, nursing cover, etc. I didn't register for any of this but I doubt anyone would have bought it anyway...
I didn't get a much that I don't or didn't use. I had to exchange my monitor (it was Summer Infant- I got a levana one which is much better) and the activity mat (had Tiny love, got a FP one instead) because they turned out to be crap.
After the fact, I didn't really purchase anything for K that I needed.
My biggest regret was a wiper warmer. We only used water and cotton pads until she was like 6 months old. When we started using the wipe warmer, she got a terrible diaper rash....ped said the heat breeds infection.
1. Swing was a must for us, he loved it. Pack n Plays... we got 3- one for each parents house and ours. We are always on the go and take it with us all the time. Rolling suitecase kid size. Jack has one from Target and I use it all the time when we go away over night or on vacation.
2. bottle warmer. He liked the formula cold or room temp. It was a waste. Only used wipe warmer during winter time, no issues- actually just cleaned it out and put away from Charlotte.
1. Plush crib sheets. It took me a few months to discover thier awesomeness.
2. I agree with the bottle warmer and adding the bottle sterilizer (spelling?). You can sterilize bottles in boiling water or microwave and I didn't end up sterilizing them very often at all. A also liked her bottles cold or room temp and wouldn't take a warm bottle ever. I guess we may have lucked out with that though, because not having to warm a bottle at 2am was nice!
didnt use the bumbo more than, eh 3 or 4 times? this was a hand-me-down though so it wasnt really a waste. we did register for the swing, which i remember being great with my neices/nephews- my kid hated it.
1. jumperoo
2. bottle brushes ( i used playtex drop-ins) and i just started using the munchkin dishwasher baskets
best of luck
1. Moby wrap
2. Bottle warmer. A also liked his bottles room temp, which was MUCH easier when travelling, making during the night, etc. It also made transitioning to cold milk at 1 yr much easier since nothing ever had to be warmed.

1. what was the one thing that you wish you added to your baby registry that you didn't?
A play mat. We've used this thing more than any other baby item! DD loves to hang out on her mat and kick/play for a good hour at a time, so it's a fabulous safe place to put her so I can eat or handle an errand or two. I never thought to register for one. Thankfully, one of my cousins gave us a hand-me-down and we dug it out after C was born.
2. what was one thing you registered for that you never used?
We haven't used our PnP at all. It's set up in the living room and we use it to store baby stuff in, which is horrible. We used the napper occasionally for the first 2-4 weeks, but she didn't like it much then outgrew it. We had an Arm's Reach co-sleeper in our room for the first two months, and now that's our travel crib. I'm sure we would've used it if we didn't have the ARC.
I want to add that there were a couple items that were total lifesavers and I'm SO glad we got them - the Moby wrap for when she was fussing and would only sleep against me, the snap-n-go frame (we have the graco one and the graco seat snaps into it, so it's very secure and I've used it a TON), and the swing. We had a hand-me-down swing that she hated, so we donated it and decided to try another one. We got the FP snugabunny and it has been the best thing - she naps in it all the time.
1-nothing. I bought anything that I needed. But put anything you think you'll need on it since you get the completion discount for only what is on your registry.
2- the boppy pillow. Never used it.
