This time i tried not to say anything to anyone - my family only found out at the end of may lol I didnt want to get my hopes up, and then have them shot down again!!!!
We are closing on Monday and they are moving out 7/1 - so we will be doing some painting and stuffs and then moving in mid july
After months of looking outside of the Bronx before the winter, we decided in Jan to stay in the Bronx. We have in-law daycare there when we are ready to have kids, and it is just easier. Instead of me leaving elmsford at 530 to go to the bronx and back up to rockland and or westchester with a kid. We found the house in March, and it has been an up and down hill battle since then! We just found out yesterday that we are closing on Monday!!!
The house is in Throggs Neck. Not far from Tremont Avenue / The Marina Del Ray and Tosca.
So excited to be getting out of our apt!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!! Throggs Neck is great. My dad is from there, they had a 3 family house on Throggs Neck Expressway and Layfeyette Ave for over 50 years with a yard and 2 car detached garage. I have many fond memories walking over 95 to Tremont to FrankBees 5 &10.
