I'm going to Clermont tonight to stay w/ my BFF- then tomorrow @ 5 we are going to a babyshower.
i hate baby showers. IF we ever have kids, i will be dreading the baby shower. I'm already dreading it. lol. I didn't even want to go to my own bridal shower. I hate being in the center of attn like that. ew

I, too, am a baby/bridal shower hater. For me and for others. Hate hate hate. I've always said I'd be more than happy to send a very generous gift if I can be excused from the guest list.
Tonight - some (presumably) lame-o concert that I'm kind of dreading, but with a friend I like. So, yeah. In fact, if this headache doesn't go away, I'm going to bail on it. Honestly, I'd rather go home, eat leftovers and nap.
Tomorrow - Maintenance issues at 8:30am, lunch with nesties, who knows in the afternoon/evening?

sunday mil & bil are coming over... i'd rather go fishing. My dad came upstairs last night and asked if we want to go fishing on Sunday for fathers day.
i tried to convince DH that mil & bil can come over next wknd.
didn't happen.
i'm such a brat.but my dad is moving the boat to the east coast next wknd so this is the last trip until the bahamas.
Tonight our stupid friend is coming over. I know, I am so mean to call him stupid but I have got my fill from him lately. We just got back from our FL vacation with him. Gah, I forgot how much of a PITA he can be.
Tomorrow we are going to a quienceara (I have no idea if I spelled that right.....a Mexican 15th Birthday party for us non-Spanish speaking people, LOL). I am not really looking forward to it. We have friends coming to stay with us for the party and I have yet to finish unpacking my bags from our trip last week. I have clothes and suitcases that need to be put away stored in the guest room. I really need to get up and clean. I guess I will once the baby is up from her nap. Speaking of, she has been sleeping since 11:00 this afternoon.......what a nice break!

Yesterday I had lunch w/ a friend who works in out patient registration @ the hospital.
She said on Tuesday a 13 y/o F came in w/ abdominal pain.
She is admitted to L&D (or recovery..whatever) with a baby in the NICU
wtf.
She didn't know she was pregnant.
And here I am having unprotected sex for over a year and I have no baby in my uterus. Life isn't fair I tell you.
Well, good luck to her. 13 years old is way to young to become a parent. I hope she has a good support system. So sad.

...I can understand your point Kathy...and I agree life is not fair when it comes to TTC.. but the hospital did not know yet whether or not it was a rape or some kind of familial abuse. jus tputting that out there that things are always as they seem.

Yes, you are right. Didn't think of it that way. Well for everyone involved, I hope that is not the case. Life will already be hard enough for everyone and an added crime on top of everything would just add to the stress. Poor girl. Even if she wasn't a victim of a crime. Either way she will have a tough life in front of her.

Wheee! Saturday lunch with the ladies. Sunday I'm going to the paved recreational path just North of the Sunshine Skyway that goes over the two other bridges to run my 8 miler! I'm excited now, ask me how I feel on Sunday at about 730am.

Being injured is no fun!! I can only imagine how you feel, I was going bonkers after being out for 3 weeks with a sinus infection! Is your knee still bothering you?

Me too! I have three showers (one in CT where DH's family is, one in MI where my family is and one here) and I am dreading them! OK, maybe dreading is a bad word, it will be so much fun to see everyone but I hate having to sit there while everyone watches me open my presents. I also LOATHE the baby shower games, I find it ridiculous - and a little rude - that people want to wrap ribbons around me to guess how big I am! Oh well, it's all part of the fun right
This weekend we're going to Orlando to see my dad and take him out and spending the rest of the weekend working on the nursery!

this effing heat is bothering me.
I can't make myself go outside and even attempt a run. It's to depressing. Plus, my cardio level is in the shitter and I can't keep the pace I want to keep and that makes me mad as well.

Ahhh yes. This is why I have to run at 5am! Remember how I blew up during the 15K? We were on a yellow flag from the start. No bueno for Jenny!
It really sucks when your cardio level is down but remember, the longer you wait to get back on the road, the longer it will take and the harder it will be to get back to where you were. You're an amazing runner Jena, you just gotta get back on that horse! Imagine how much asss you will kick in the winter races if you train through the summer!

It's just so depressing to be running in the 9's when I was training in the 8's-
I ran on the TM 2.5 times this week. lol. the 1/2 is bc I got off the treadmill at 1.7miles out of 3 (so lame).
Okay.
Next week I will run outside..make me do it.
oh. and I have to run at least 4 miles. this 3 miles crap has to stop.
I know if I train in the summer i'll be better in the winter, but gaw its miserable. I'm also kicking myself in the assssshole big time for registering for the womens half in nov.
I have to go. I need to leave the office in 5 minutes and I still have shiz to do.
Luckily I haven't been belly molested yet and when it happens I don't think I will respond in a positive way about it. The thought of random people coming up and rubbing my stomach is so disturbing to me!
