Re: My DH/SO rocks 6/17
DH was amazing this week- he took the challenge of failing the 1hr glucose with the "we can pass this" attitude... he made sure I had a good dinner on Wednesday night (albeit, he bought corn which I told him I shouldn't be eating... so we enjoyed it). He was a great cheerleader for when I had to drink the glucola and then sat for the entire 3 hrs with me.
When I passed, he took me out for fro-yo... when I sent him the awful email from my father, he comforted me and wanted to scream at my parents. We talked about how we want to raise our children to not have the body image issues I have and how we can help them embrace whatever shape they are.
He gets an A++ for this week
good job on the 3 hour! I swear I'm missing everything not being in the email group, I'm sorry your dad was mean whatever it was that he said
Thanks! I'll post the email!

DH rocks for sleeping in the guest room for like the last two plus weeks that we've both been so sick and giving me the better bed because he thinks my sleep is more important because I'm growing a baby. Granted neither of us is sleeping that well because of our colds, but I do enjoy being able to spread out and not worry about my nest of pillows disrupting him.
Also, we are having a date night tonight, dinner and a movie if I can stop coughin.
Yay for passing the 3hr! (I have my 1 hr on Monday), but I am sorry to hear about your father's e-mail.
DH changed his FB status today to: "Looking forward for Monday to come! We find out if we are having a Boy or a Girl!"
And now he is in mid conversation with his buddies about it and one offered to pass on clothes to us. I love that DH is getting really excited and I love that the guys are talking about it just as I do with the girls!
Dude, how are you far enough along to be finding out already?!? Oh my gosh!
As for my DH, he rocks because he must have called me 10 times yesterday to ask how I was feeling. (really, I don't have any symptoms yet, and I love that he's so concerned!) He is just amazing.

I know!! 20 weeks came out of no where! I am trying to really enjoy every minute of this pregnancy because we aren't sure if we want to try for more than one, and even if we do there are (obviously) no guarantees. It is going so fast, it's ridiculous!
Aww Aron is so sweet!
PS, I am excited to see your posts on HDBD's!!!
CRAFTY ME
my read shelf:
My DH rocks because when he got off work yesterday in the "blazing heat", for CO anyway it was all of 93* and dry as can be, he went out to mow our grass for the 2nd time in a week. Last week was the first time he could mow the sod, and he kept it pretty tall, so this week he cut it short. Our yard is looking fab!
He also rocks because I've been feeling down about my few lbs of weight gain (which of course all goes straight to my waist), he keeps saying "There's going to be a baby in there soon so you better get used to it!"
I love seeing this.
