In an ideal world, what would your landscape look like?
If you could easily afford any type of landscape for your home, what would your objectives be?
Post inspiration images if you like.
Have fun.

My objectives are shade, species diversity, and a tropical feel (because I grew up in FL and currently live in Midatlantic, where everything is Colonial-inspired).

I love it to be crowded with wall-to-wall plants, but I also need structure and clean lines. I can't stand it when things grow into and over each other. I need to see where one plant ends and the others begin. I flip out if my garden to looks overgrown, messy, or as if it happened by accident.
I love this crowded little courtyard, because it makes great use of the space and it so well structured and neat:

This reminds me of my own backyard layout, because it has low walls surrounding a central plaza:

Well, if we are dreaming I would love to have a long driveway lined with trees like this http://www.oakalleyplantation.com/ I love love love all the old oak trees. And with all that shade, I would finally be able to grow rows upon rows of hydrangeas
I also really like the look of this herb garden. It's useful, yet still beautiful. I am always drawn to the English/cottage garden, but I like the one I posted that looks relaxed, yet not chaotic.
