I took a half day today so I could get things ready for the party tomorrow. So, what am I doing?
Drinking wine and playing with the splash swords we got yesterday.
I need some motivation. Or someone to come over and keep me company.
Re: Friday Laziness
I am at work making files and filing crap. I would so rather be playing with splash swords.
Yes, I realize I could get the files done a lot faster if I got off the nest, but I WON'T I WON'T I WON'T!
These splash swords are the sh*t. I wish I had them when I was like 12.
I'd totally nest over filing too.

How are the kitties?
Did Mark ever let you furnish your extra bedrooms? ha
I just sent out an email saying I was leaving at 2:45 just because I am so done with this week. I couldn't take 2 more hours. Plus we are having 20ish people over tonight so I really want to get home to relax before everyone comes over.
Party at Tara's! Whoop whoop!
Cole - You are more than welcome to come you just have to agree to play kickball with us this fall!
We make everyone come to our house now because it is so much easier with Parker. No one seems to care!
The kitties are good. They're howling to go out right now but I don't want to chase them around the yard. (Bad kitty mom here.)
The extra bedrooms are half furnished - all hand-me-down furniture but they look put together enough.
How'd Pong's party go?
Kate's Recipe Box || Relatively Bookish
Party was crazy, but all the kids were respectful and nice. My house wasn't even in shambles and Pong is cleaning it today. We think there were about 20 kids through out the night. The highest count at one moment I got was 16.
David was at work most of the night, and then when he got home he was in a terrible mood because he had a bad trauma patient (and young, and most of the kids' friend but we couldn't tell them). So I was pretty much on my own as far as supervision. And one of the girls was terrified of dogs, so that was interesting... she went outside in the front yard when I brought them in from the backyard after it got dark, I immediately put them in my bedroom and she wanted me to promise they wouldn't come out... bizarre.
I haven't been lazy at all at work today. I've literally spent 6 hours retyping education standards for our district, and I'm wore out.
H brought me home a fancy wine opener (a genie or wizard or something like that) and 2 bottles of wine home as a make up for being gone for the past 2 weeks. So that's what's got me going.
