Plans for the weekend should be really tame, I quite honestly want to keep it low key. Im having contractions here and there and dont want to go too far.
AND, Im super bummed - because my husband who is my best friend 99% of the time is really on my last nerve, and I want to punch him in the crotch. I think its just time for him to finally address his inability to deal with the fact that his family dynamic pollutes OUR life. Oy. Its not easy.
Tonight/Friday: He wants to take me out to dinner, I said no. So, Im staying in and just watching a movie or something.
Saturday: No plans at all, and its fabulous!
Sunday: *Today Im buying him a card and some kind of small gift for "daddy to be" for Father's Day. But we're going to Staten Island to look at some more houses, and then probably to the movies. Something low key.

Tonight, we have some friends coming over to watch Harry Potter: my friend's boyfriend has never actually watched any of the movies, so we're catching him up before the last one comes out in July. I'm super excited! Sasha's staying at my parents' house, which means that tomorrow, we get to sleep in! Then possibly see a movie. Nothing planned for tomorrow night.
On Sunday, we're probably just going to go to my ILs' house for a BBQ, honestly not something I'd love to do on Father's Day, but it's DH's day, so he gets to pick. My parents are probably coming too (they and my ILs have been friends for years, way before DH and I were even dating!)

Bubblegum Explosion
Sounds like some calm weekend - sometimes doing nothing counts for something.
Friday - home with a bottle of wine & some movies borrowed from the library.
Sat - DH has to work. I start my morning by going for X-rays of my knees (super painful knees), then head back home to clean the closet in the 3rd bedroom & attempt to clean a few more windows upstairs (OR NOT, depends on the knees) (this was on my Spring Cleaning list & spring is almost over and still not yet done :S), then I head off to volunteer at the Kiwanis Club (its mostly sitting so I am good), then laundry with DH, then some shopping (I have coupons & giftcards to play). Then hopefully chilling at home. DH may go to Connecticut for a Father's Day get-together which ALWAYS lasts till 9am the next day, so I am out.
Sun - church, call some fathers whom I know & cook. DH should be heading home from CT. Chill.

Tonight: I have my book club. But now that I can't drink it isn't nearly as much fun.
Saturday: Going to The Bronx to see DHs Aunt and Uncle, his mother will be there, too. She is spending a few day.
Sunday: Having my father come over to our place. Ordering dinner and maybe going out to look for new recliner for him.
I'm a little late on the post...
Last night we stayed in and I watched "Because I Said So" on E! (cute movie)...and that's about it for our exciting night. lol
Today: DH is doing a side job and then we're having his mom over for dinner tonight.
Tomorrow: Taking DH out to brunch for his 1st Father's Day. It's a bittersweet day for him. It's his 1st being a dad and his 1st without his dad. =( Then we're heading to my 'rents house for a BBQ, but if it rains, then we will just do dinner inside.
