Happy Friday?

Where was our Happy Friday post? (I'm looking at you, C!) And our Monday posts for that matter? We are all slacking. I'll blame it on spring fever.

So Happy Friday everyone! What's up for this weekend?

I was totally caught up in a virtual baby shower for my anniversary board (with MrsT & MrsC). So much fun!

I'm headed to Portsmouth & Kittery/ Ogunquit with my two best friends for a girls weekend-- we are celebrating our 30ths and it's our last hurrah before we all have kids (1 has a 9month old & the other is 5 weeks behind me). So excited for girl time Smile

  • Happy Friday!  I just frosted six cakes... omg.  I am beat.
  • You are so right!  Happy Friday!  Ha ha ha.  It is Saturday now though.  I took DoggieCrushing to the groomer at 7am yesterday, and it just threw off my day.

Yesterday I spent the day in and out running errands.  Last night was SIL's wedding shower.  It was great.

Today we are spending more time with H's family.  Tomorrow morning we are hosting my parents for brunch, and then heading back to H's parents house in the afternoon for a barbecue.

I ended up getting H chocolates for Father's Day.  I hope he likes them!

Wow, what are all the cakes for?  Were they big?

I just got back from a dentist appointment and had no surprises, yipee!  Got some errands to run today and then have to visit my grandpa (he was admitted to the hospital yesterday for general weakness, probably caused by the fact that he's been refusing to eat much).

Tomorrow we're taking my dad out for a Father's Day dinner.  Maybe some volleyball in the afternoon.

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Happy Saturday!

I've been MIA for awhile now.  It's the end of the school year and life is CRAZY trying to get everything done.  I should be finishing up my grading and doing report cards right now but after playing with Lil all morning I needed a break ... and well ... I'm procrastinating.

We may go to a picnic this afternoon or we may just skip if I have too much to do.  Tomorrow we'll celebrate DHs 1st father's day and go to a baptism for a friend.

Only 2.5 days of school left and I'll have a 1 year old next Sunday ... Then life really gets fun. :)

  • Rock, I hope your grandfather is doing better!

We were going to go to the parade this morning, but Alan decided last night that he'd rather not. Which was fine with me. We just took a walk up to the bakery/Starbucks, and now we're chilling on the couch.  Tonight, we're going out for dinner because we still haven't made it.  Tomorrow, we're going to my ILs in NH for father's day. I'm hoping it won't be like last year when we sat around and watched golf all afternoon.  But since it's pretty much the only time all year we get to have a barbecue, it's worth it. (Sort of.)

    Enjoy the nice weather, everyone!

  • I was super delayed getting in last night. So I didn't get home until 11. And DS wanted nothing to do with me Sad

Today we are just hanging out, we'll run a few errands, but it's stormy here, so we'll stay close to home.

Tomorrow- cooking a big breakfast for DH and skyping with my parents! And dreading the return to work on Monday.

Wow!! I can't believe she's one! As of this week, BabyE (and BabyBooster) are 7 months, so I guess it makes sense but I still can't believe it!!

  • I have been totally MIA lately. I started training for my new role at work about 2 weeks ago and it's ALL DAY training. And we still have 2 more weeks to go. Talk about brutal. We also moved this weekend so things have just been crazy lately. Hopefully things will die down soon and start to go back to normal.

I know!  It's so crazy.  Everyone always said time moves so fast but I didn't really understand HOW fast until now.  It's amazing to think that she's only a few days away from one and thinking about all the things that she can do already when a year ago I hadn't even met her yet.
