Who's book blog am I following - questions for you!
I'm following one of your blogs and I can't remember who Crystal is....forgive me! Funky, I think??
Anyway I starred your 2010 books list to add to my Paperback Swap and I'm finally adding them. I wasn't sure on a few of the honorable mentions though since there are multiple books with the same titles.
Can you help me on authors of Looking For Alaska, Forget You, Some Girls Are (is this Courtney Summers?)
Thanks a bunch!

Re: Who's book blog am I following - questions for you!
Yup, that's me!
Looking for Alaska - John Green
Forget You - Jennifer Echols
Some Girls Are - Courtney Summers
You'll have to let me know when you read any of them, I'd love to hear what you think!
Blog!
Thanks, girl!!
When I saw your list I knew I had to star it since we seem to like some similar books. I've added them all to my PBS, but it doesn't look like a lot were available. So far I have the 1st Percy Jackson one coming to me, but that's it. I'm making myself not buy any new books unless they're certain authors that I collect until I can get through some on my shelf.
I've been doing good reading lately though. I'm going to get the Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest tomorrow b/c I just can't wait!
Right now I'm reading Everlasting - the last of the Alyson Noel Immortals. I'm not that into it (like the last 4), but I want to finish the series.
You reading anything good?
I'm glad my list could help!
Not buying anything new is SOO hard for me..lol. I'm planning to go to the Decatur Book Festival over Labor Day weekend with a bunch of my nestie friends and they posted the list a few days ago, so I need to start buying for that
I borrowed those books from my mom (The Immortals) and I think I only read the first 2. Part of the reason was because those were the only books my mom owned at the time and I just never had the urge to go back to them because I figured they would get much weirder.
I've been in a weird mood. I'm starting all these books but haven't finished them..I think I have 8 going according to GR. I think I've only finished 2 books in the last month.
The first one was Divergent by Veronica Roth. There is a LOT of hype around this one and I thought it was going to disappoint me after I read it (most do) but the hype is totally justified and it is by far my favorite book of the year so far. I finished it and wanted to immediately start reading it again.
I also got some review copies of Ally Carter's Heist Society and Uncommon Criminals and I really liked HS a LOT more than I thought I would and I'm flying through UC so maybe those 3 books will break me out of this reading funk.
How do you like Stieg Larsson? I haven't read anything of his yet and I'm not too sure whether I would like it or not.

Added those to my PBS too!
The Immortals do get stranger, but I'm so vested in the characters that I just love them. After three it goes to the first book that's way at the beginning of the series, but it's called Clockwork Angel series. Then she goes to the 4th in the Immortals which is where it's at now. Kind of odd, but I think the next is the 2nd in the Clockwork Angels, then 5th in Immortals, then 3rd in Clockwork which will catch up to the 1st Immortals. Then the last in Immortals. Her webpage explains it way better than I just did!
I am loving the Steig Larsson books. I was surprised I did at first b/c the material is a little "heavy", but they're very good. I guess it was supposed to be a series of 10, but he died after the 3rd. I'm hoping it has a definite "ending". It will annoy me a little if it's left open for the next and then the next never comes. #1 and #2 had definite endings to them even though it's the same characters so I'm hopeful.
I don't think we're friends on GR - I have the same name there - add me! I usually just "star" the books, but I want to start actually putting some sort of a review.
YAY! You'll LOVE Divergent!
Wait, are you talking about Alyson Noel's Immortals series or Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instrument series? CC does the City of_____ books and the Clockwork books. I've read the 2 of the Alyson Noel books but after last year at the Decatur Book Festival I refuse to read any of CC's books even though I have the 4 that are out in that series.
I'm glad you're enjoying them! Have you see the movie for the first one? I know they're in the process of doing an American version of it. I also heard that the powers that be are thinking about continuing the series with a ghost writer. I think this is part of the reason I haven't read them yet. I don't want to get invested and then book 4 is done by someone else and is completely different and a let down
Friend request on GR sent! I really need to put reviews on there..I rarely do.
Blog!
I was talking about both somehow. I'm currently reading the last of the Immortals (AN), although I'm really not a fan of the books. I just feel vested and want to finish it.
The long explanation was CC. I'm so confused though. Ghost writer? Not reading them after Decatur festival last year...am I missing something???
I haven't seen the movie - is it out already? I was thinking it was next year. Now I'm totally lost, LOL!
Movie - The American version hasn't been done yet but they're working on it. There's a Swedish version available on netflix though.
Gotcha. I know how that goes..I read a lot more of the Vampire Diaries books for that reason and I hated them..lol Thank god the show is so much better!
They were talking about someone else writing the rest of the Stieg Larsson books because they wanted the money from it so they were going to hire someone else to finish. It wouldn't be the same since they don't know what his vision for it would have been.
There was a whole big issue with Cassandra Clare that really made me dislike her and now I don't want to read any of her books.
