Trimming zucchini plants?
My DH suggested spacing out some of my squash and zucchini plants this year because they took over the yard last year but I think our plan is backfiring. The plants are already twice the size they normally are...I think since they have more room they are growing extra well.
I'm getting lots of good produce but would like to trim back the enormous leaves. Is there a safe way to trim some of these leaves? I don't want to kill the plan and have never done this. Any advice is appreciated!
TIA!
Re: Trimming zucchini plants?
You can prune zucchini so it takes up very little space. I plan to do this with mine:
