What are everyone's plans??
We are going to sushi tonight (it's been FOREVER I am so excited)! Tomorrow we have a dog outing/training with Bruce so pray for us if ya don't mind
Then cleaning the house. Seriously. I say this every weekend, but the humongous cockroach in my bathroom convinced me that it really must happen tomorrow.
Re: Happy finally Friday!
Hooray Friday finally is right!
I'm so happy today (HUGE contrast to yesterday!) bc both managers are not working today so all I have to do is deal with residents and a passing thru maintenance tech. I've got the calendar working for the NYC GTG so please email me ASAP so we can see who can come! :-) EEEK I'm so excited for this! There's a lot of availability so far and flexibility so I think we should be able to find a few dates that will work for most of us!
Tonight I'm getting hoagies for dinner, relaxing with DH.
Tomorrow I'm doing DH's birthday dinner of surf n turf. (bday is Monday but its easier to do meals relaxed on the weekend and I leave for a conference Tues am) I gotta buy the rest of the things I need and make it all. I keep saying clean the house too, but finding such little motivation.
Sunday (father's day), we're going to pick up the kids and go to breakfast at Perkins then who knows what. Thats up to DH. I'll call my dad, he's not a fan of the "Hallmark" holidays so we don't do presents or cards.
Oh and wrap DHs presents- a model C-141 plane (he used to be an engineer in the AF) and a plate that matches our set, since one got broken and he hasnt brought himself to buy another one bc the shipping is more than the plate. He'll love them both!

Good morning ladies!
Well, we seriously do not have ONE thing planned for this whole weekend!!! I am so excited about it! I need to do a lot of house cleaning and garage cleaning, but other than that, we can do whatever we want! : )
Happy Friday!
Like you guys, I am super excited that we may be meeting in person soon - that was a really neat thing to come out of this (long) week!
This weekend:
Mani/pedi's with Mom on Saturday, and then probably reading more of my photography books and taking photos, and watching the US Open Golf Tourney - woo hoo!
Sunday - Father's Day cookout at my parents is the headliner, and more than likely I'll piddle around the house until it's time to go to that :-)
But boy, this day has been jumping for me! I can't wait until quitting time!
This weekend is shaping up to be a busy one!!
Tonight I must go food shopping - DH was traveling this whole week, so I barely had any food in the house! Tonight, I'm trying a new salmon recipe that I found on Spark, I hope it's good!
Tomorrow, we're having a couple over for a backyard bbq. They have two little kiddies, so that should be fun. And Sunday, we'll take my parents out to eat for Father's Day and have them back over for cake and coffee. So I have lots of cooking and baking to do. It should be fun though
So glad it's FRIDAY!!!!
I feel like crap today - sinus stuff - so I plan to do next to nothing when I get home today.
We don't have any major plans for tomorrow but I'm sure SD & I will be heading to the pool. Saturday evening SD & I will be making cupcakes for father's day.
On Sunday we'll go to church, then over to the in-laws for lunch. That evening my parents will came over & we'll grill hotdogs & have all the trimmings.
I hope I'm over this crud soon so I can enjoy the weekend.
I am so freakin happy it's Friday today!!
Tonight we are staying in and maybe getting some things done at home.
Saturday we are doing Father's Day. We are going to the in-laws in the morning/afternoon. H is going to play golf with his BIL and FBIL. Then we are going to my parents in the evening for BBQ.
Sunday DH is going to the Card's game with his dad, my dad and either mom or brother. I am going to be doing laundry and getting stuff done at home. I may make some cupcakese or something too.
This weekend could not have come soon enough! Today after work I'm heading out with some girlfriends for dinner and drinks. Tomorrow DH and I are going to IKEA to get some furniture like a new bookcase and desk. We're also taking my Dad out for Father's Day for lunch. And going to a grad party Sat afternoon. ACTION PACKED!
Sunday is relaxed and I hope it stays that way!

I'm headed home to my parents this weekend. I'll take a few things with me that (hopefully) I can get done there since I can't get it done at my house!

A10 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination: San Francisco!
Chilling at home tonight. I got all my grocery shopping done as well as cleaning the bathroom so all I have to do tomorrow are the kitchen and the dollar store, then pick up our bedroom curtains. Hopefully the rain holds off for awhile so I can lay out for a bit tomorrow before church. Cookout over my cousin's house later tomorrow evening to see her off - she's moving to Houston on Sunday.
Kinda dreading Sunday. I want my dad.
Father's Day is going to be rough but I am taking baby steps. I even listened to Margaritaville for the first time in 4 months. We always go to breakfast on Father's Day then go to the cemetery to vist my MIL and FIL graves. Mike wants to mow my parents' yard afterwards so I guess we'll go over there, although my mom won't be home. She is, however, leaving us dinner.
If you could all say an extra prayer for her I'd be eternally grateful - this year Father's Day also falls on what would have been my parents' 40th wedding anniversary.
What a double whammy! I will be thinking of you tomorrow - I hope you are comforted by your fond memories of your dad- you will always have those...
