As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Happy Weekend
Anybody got any fun weekend plans?
My niece's birthday party is tomorrow, and I didn't know about this until today... so I gotta find a birthday present for a 3-year-old. I might go test drive a car tomorrow, even thought I can't buy anything right now with DH still gone. My parents are coming to stay the night with me Saturday night, and then Sunday my whole family is going to Dave & Busters (a grown up arcade & restaurant). I need to clean house a bit before the parents get here, and I have a few errands to run in the morning before the party. It's going to be a busy weekend... and hopefully DH will get to come home soon cuz I miss him lots and lots. *Sad pouty face*

well now the weekend is half over, but today my H had been invited by Disney (through work) to a VIP screening of Cars 2 in 3D in NYC, so we took my 3 1/2 yr old nephew, my sister (his mom) and her H. It was a lot of fun and a cool experience, but very exhausting!! My nephew had so much energy and never sat still lol - he even chased pigeons in the park in Little Italy and called them chickens (it was his first NYC trip and never saw them before), so cute!
Tomorrow we are going to my parents for Fathers day and I am going shopping with my sister for something to wear to my baby shower, not that I know when it is.
Im on the first full day of vacation, and typing on my phone which for some reason wont let me do apostrophes or any exclamation points besides periods and commas on this site. sorry all.
im sitting on the fourth floor rooftop patio of our beach house overlooking the ocean and the marsh. im so happy to be here. i just wish dh hadnt kept me up for all but two hours last night with his snoring. with eleven people staying here, there was nowhere to escape. i had planned on an early morning beach walk but im too tired. maybe tomorrow.
going to go brew a pot of coffee, grab a book, and enjoy the silence while i can before the house...and the beach...come to life.
