What made you choose an iguana as a pet?

I had gotten Dave a bearded dragon for his bday several years ago (bc he wanted one SO bad). It was a baby, and it was frikking adorable, and we loved it to little beardie poop pieces. Dave's cat however, was not such a big fan, she was always trying to get at it. Well one day Dave had fed the beardie, and didn't close the lid to the tank all the way. Unfortunately the cat got to him :/ I don't think I ever cried so much for an animal before. So I told my cousin (who is a huge animal lover) about this whole story. She responded with "What?!?! I didn't realize you guys like lizards, the science teacher at my school is trying to find a new home for the iguana" Dave and I spent a week researching Iggys, and said we'd head to the school to see her first and then decide. Of course once I met her I loved her. She's too cute.

Honestly if it wasn't for that whole series of events I'd probably never have gotten an iguana.

Is there anything that surprises you about married life?

Not really. I mean dave and I are still the same, we had lived together a few months before we got married, and I think that got all the craziness out of the way. We're settled and happy.

what's your favorite t.v. show? Right now I'd say Modern Family, of course I own all the seasons of Gilmore Girls and I could watch it over and over and over.

what's your favorite book that you could read over and over again? For some reason once I read a book...I usually never pick it up again. I did really enjoy "I am not myself these days" and Those Who Save Us" Probably my 2 favs.

what's your favorite fruit?? Raspberries I LOVE anything with them. The taste specifically reminds me of my childhood.

and if you could go anywhere in the world were would you be off to?  Anywhere in Italy. I wish I had the money and time right now to go.

Did he come from a rescue?  Yup, we adopted him from Providence Animal Rescue League.

What made you decide to choose Papa? Dave and I stopped into the shelter, even though we were just taking a nice weekend vacation, after seeing Montanas FB post about PARL needing help. We walked through the dog section and we split apart, Dave passed right by Papa, but I stopped. He was the only dog in there that wasn't jumping around and barking. He was just nicely huddled against the cage looking up at me with his big brown eyes.

It came down to Papa and another dog named Bear. When we went to inquire about both someone was literally in the process of adopting Bear. I took it as a sign. We played with Papa for about 2minutes when the workers told us we were a good match and we could take him home.

If you had to make a playlist of your life what artists would be on it? Oh. Ummm....Mika, Kevin Devine, Jack Johnson, TGUK, Flogging Molly, Streetlight Manifesto, Gaga, Regina Spektor, Rise Against...odd mix, and I'd totally add more, but that's what I got for now.

Are you a chocolate or a gummy candy person? Both!!!! But if I HAD to choose I'd say chocolate. Let's be honest here for a minute...I'm a candy wh0re.

If you had a wedding do-over, is there any one thing you'd change?

Where in the world would you go (if you were Carmen San Diego), all expenses paid, for 10 days?

What's your favorite kind of chocolate? :)I'm a straight up milk chocolate kinda girl.

If you had a wedding do-over, is there any one thing you'd change? I probably would have dished out more cash for a photographer. Mine was 'eh, and the company we went through was a PIA.

Where in the world would you go (if you were Carmen San Diego), all expenses paid, for 10 days? (I don't remember that show to well, but I do remember playing the computer game!) All expenses paid, I'd still pick Italy.

How did you choose the names for your pets?

How did you choose the names for your pets?  This isn't super exciting, buuuut:

Dave's mom caught Rosies (our cat) mom, she was a preggers stray. When she had the kittens Rosie would be the first one awake in the morning, poking around, sniffing everything and overall being nosey. So Dave named her Rosie for Nosey Rosie.

Serena- Well that's what the science teacher named her, except he pronounce it seraina. Where we say it like the tennis player Serena Williams.

Papa- His first owners named him that haha. We debated calling him something else, but he was already a year and a half, and well...bully breeds are stubborn enough as it is. So we decided to just stick with Papa.

If you had to wear one thing every day for the rest of your life what would it be? Jeans and a hoodie.

Favorite car? Oooo. Right now I'm feeling the Honda CR-Z

    Favorite drink? Sweet tea

Who is your favorite parent? Oh I love both of my parents a whole lot. I don't know if I could pick a favorite because I talk to them both about the same amount of time, and they both drive me crazy for about the same amount of time.

Nice! And it's alright, I'm a couple days late responding to this.

Do you prefer gummy bears or gummy worms? Gummy bears. I don't know why, but I would take bears over worms.

Where is your favorite place in the US to visit/vacation? I still haven't been out west yet, so I guess my answer would be: As of right now, I do enjoy visiting Florida, more so the Tampa and Orlando areas. It's nice to see my gpops, and there's always something to do.
