Should I be concerned about my chokberry tree? PIP
Good morning ladies. My landscape architect dropped off this tree for us about 6 weeks ago and this is what it looked like this morning (it was raining). Notice the brown leaves? I used 10-10-10 fertilizer and mixed manure in with the soil. I just emailed her too, but I'd like to get opinions here. Thanks in advance.

Tough to say from the pictures what's going on, but the tip growth looks good from what I can see. Off the top of my head, I'd venture that the browning is due to root insult of some type. You should not fertilize new plantings, so don't do that anymore.
