fecal samples for indoor cats?

my cat has a vet appt for her annual and her distemper booster tomorrow. i dont think i am going to bring in a fecal sample for her. i only have to bring in one every once in awhile because they share a litter box and to be honest, unless they were sick it seems like a waste. i can see if they were outdoor cats but they are not.
Me:39 Dx LPD, Fibroid, AMA and all that goes with that. H:37 Dx low motility and low morphology. TTC since 3/12. Clomid 8/12 and 9/12: BFN. 11/12 on a break for Myomectomy sched. 11/26. Resume TTC early 2013.

    I did it while I was pregnant, but other than that I never have before.

    If you bring it in it saves them from having the stick up the butt. I've never been able to though since mine share a litter box too.

    oh no my vet won't "take" a sample unless there's something wrong. this is her annual and they asked for one but there are no litterbox problems so i'll say i forgot. i have four cats so eventually a fecal gets checked...and they say since they share LB it doesn't matter who it's from. i just think it's excessive and gets expensive after awhile.

    sorry! hopefully this will be buried soon! we are back from the vet and i got the expensive news that lola needs a dental. that will be a good $500. damn!!!!
